13 August 2026 — Trust pages added
- Published four new pages: About, Editorial Policy, Updates & Changelog, and Contact.
- Added an About link to the site navigation and linked the new pages from the footer.
- Added all four new pages to the sitemap.
- Repointed the old
/about-us/and/contact-us/paths to the new pages.
12 August 2026 — Routing and accessibility fixes
- Migrated to a directory-per-URL structure so every guide lives at its own address.
- Fixed robots.txt so search engines can read the stylesheet.
- Corrected the FAQ breadcrumb schema.
- Adjusted the accent colour for WCAG AA contrast.
11 August 2026 — August 2026 payment schedule published
- Added the August 2026 payment dates: Older Persons Grants paid on 4 August, Disability Grants on 5 August, and Children's Grants on 6 August.
- Added the August 2026 SRD payment window (approximately 17–31 August) with bank-processing caveats.
11 August 2026 — Research-driven content rewrite
- Rewrote all core pages using verified facts from the research notes, with practitioner insights and structural variety.
- Removed banned filler phrases from all published content.
- Added the research notes and SERP analysis documents that now guide content decisions.
11 August 2026 — Design refresh
- Introduced the bright white theme with the blue accent colour.
- Reduced outbound links to srd.sassa.gov.za to a maximum of three per page.
11 August 2026 — Site launch
- First version of the current site: core guides, redirect map, sitemap, and SEO setup.
